Condition Report

In overall good condition, except for a very faint diagonal hairline crack to the foot. Some expected age-consistent wear and minor casting imperfections, including a small patch of thinner bronze to the rim (visible under X-Ray). X-Ray images available upon request.

Condition Report

The cover has a restored crack to the rim running diagonally toward the finial. The vessel is in overall good condition. Both the vessel and cover have some expected age-appropriate wear and minor casting imperfections. X-Ray images available upon request.

Diameter 8¼ in., 21 cm

Condition Report

One restored crack across the inside, with associated minute fills, overpainting and overspray, measuring approx. 23.5 cm. There is a crescent-shape chip reattached, with associated overpainting and overspray, measuring approx. 6 cm across. Two restored hairline cracks, the longer one measuring approx. 3.3 cm. A few restored chips to the rim with associated restored hairline cracks and patch touchups. Overall with expected surface wear and firing imperfections, consistent with age and type.

 

內見一橫貫細縫經修補,連帶小補、補繪及補釉,約23.5公分長。另見一半月形剝落經重新粘接,連帶補繪及噴釉,約6公分寬。口見兩處細沖經修,較長者約3.3公分長。另見少許小磕經修,連帶細沖及片狀修補。整體見正常表面磨損及窰燒瑕疵,與年代及品類相符。
